Seven Years ago (a 9-11 poem)

Seven years ago, two towers stood mighty above the ground.

Seven years ago, four planes set out on a path of destruction.

Seven years ago, people died, many more people than would usually.

Seven years ago was a fateful day where millions died a tradgic death.

A tradgic death no one should ever suffer

Seven years ago, this country stood closer together, closer together than ever before.

Nine Eleven, made me be grateful for those whom I have in my life currently because some day they won’t be there.

Seven years ago I was sitting in my Social Studies class I was in seventh grade.  My teacher came in crying, adn the principle came over the PA.  People came in and confiscated the Televisions, and we continued class.  My Mother came to pick me up early from school that day, she drove home crying the whole way.

Seven years ago is a tragic day which I will always remember.

I wish all who’s families died this terrible fate happiness, and feel a bit of sadness for those who have died.

I am from New York, from Long Island, and will always remember 9-11 and the sight of the first tower falling at 9:30 AM.

It was a terrible day, and although this poem has lost it’s poetic aspects, it still has a strong message:

“We will never forget.”   and still yet another one this one is a song which most of you may know:

On a lighter note today,  my Psychology class this morning was interesting when “Bodies” the Drowning Pool song made an entrance with the sound of my laptop dropping.
