facebook inspired, Three Days Grace song helped, and I wrote it, with a little help from some struggles in my current life
A note to the reader:
I’m not sure how many of you use facebook, or know about the many “features” (also know as “Applications”) that facebook has, but if you do, you will understand this a little better I guess than those of you who do not. Facebook.com is a social networking website very much unlike the “competitor” (if you will) website, Myspace. One of these “applications” (an “application”, is just something one adds to his or her profile, such as a game, or a comment wall), social Moth, is a place where people can anonymously post a secret that they feel that they need to get out, such as “I love you, marry or me”, or the one that this entry is going to be about.
The rock band, Three Days Grace has an album, “One- X” for those of you not familiar with this either. A song off of that “album”/ CD/ Online stream, “Let It die”, sort of describes a break up of a couple.
Enjoy and best wihses to all,
Sincerly,
Aw3sumpunk

Flashback to a few months ago, St. Patrick’s Day ‘08, it’s still snowing in the Adirondacks in Up-state New York, I’m stuck once again in the 24-hour room, on one of the computer in the middle of the row of computer, talking to my best-friend via AIM (an Instant Messaging Service from AOL). It’s around 8:30 or so, he says that he’s going on a walk, and asks if I want to come (yes, my best-friend is a guy, or was before like ten thirty that night.) Okay, so we go for a walk together through the snow, ion the middle of the woods, near what’s called, “The ROPES course” (a trust-building activity in the woods, used during Orientations). There’s about a good four or five feet of snow on the ground, with several layers of ice under it, and in between it. I wore sneakers… -_- My shoe comes off, and I stop to pick it out, and get the snow out of it, I end up almost falling over in the snow, he stops and waits for me, then starts to turn around, and go back for me, I hop around, putting my shoe back on quickly, and catch up to the tall sort of chubby 19 year old, college Sophomore. Looking down at my shoes, he asks me, ” Why’d you wear your VANS, I told you to wear something that you wouldn’t care if you got them muddy?”
I reply, “I did, I don’t care if I get these muddy, and my bots aren’t water-proof.”
He turns back around, and continues walking. Now my right foot, is kind of getting a little cold and wet, through my thin four-leaf clover socks, and VANS (a skaters’ shoe/ sneaker.) By the way, reader, keep in mind that it is dark and the middle of the winter in the Adirondack mountains, when this is taking place. My show comes off again, cac ouple of more times before we head back. He saw some ducks
